It is over. Three impressive days! Is a must to talk about the splendid setting that receives the fair at the town of Arco: The Garda Lake and the scenery around it help to create a suitable atmosphere for this specific kind of event.
The Casino, where all conferences take place, is faultless. The organization quite trained. The care was perfect.
Lots of traders of all kind, mostly of Bonsai and pots tempting the possible customers.
A big success.
The quality of Bonsai that made up the exhibition and that competed for a prize was insurmountable. Unique examples carefully worked. A Bonsai exhibit, following aesthetic rules. Just a wonder.
Concerning the Suiseki, that is other matter. At the general exhibition, the example were not too many, but some of them ad a good quality. Among them we would choose the one presented by Andrea Schenone. An attractive landscape, exhibited very smartly as usual.
As per the "ESA" display (European Suiseki Association) placed aside, the feeling was a bit confusing and baroque.
From the conference given by Chiara Padrini about Suiseki, we can emphasize the sensitive introduction, trying subtly to transport us into this art, without despising rules, but giving precedence to feelings and sensations.
We are already expecting next issue to enjoy it again. |
